anna riveiro1Anna Jagielska-Riveiro, singer,  guitar player and  music producer. She performs music of various epoques and sings in many styles but in her musical creation she gives a special meaning to Sephardic music.

She has been dealing with Sephardic culture for many years. In her dicography there are 4 CDs with Sephardic songs and she is the only singer in Poland who deals with Sephardic issues so deeply.

 The artist has been closely cooperating with the Cervantes Institute in Warsaw for a few years, which gave its patronage to her CD: LUNAS OLVIDADAS – Forgotten Moons. The CD has also the patronage of the Polish Radio PR2.

Apart from musical traditions of Spain, Anna Jagielska-Riveiro also performs music of widely understood Jewish culture. In 2010 she established the MAAYAN consort, whose repertoire, apart from Sephardic songs, contains old Hebrew and Yiddish songs.
The CD of the consort with Sephardic music: DOS AMANTES – Sephardic songs was issued in 2011. This CD was recorded during the concert that took place in Autumn 2010 in the Witold Lutoslawski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio in Warsaw. The concert was a part of the Project BAJO EL CIELO DE SEFARAD – UNDER THE SKY OF SEPHARAD organized by the artist with the cooperation with the Cervantes Institute and the Royal Palace in Warsaw.

Although Sephardic and Jewish music as well as Ancient music, mostly from Spain, have taken the first place within artistic search of Anna Jagielska-Riveiro so far the artist performs also other kinds of music - for example music of Latin American countries.

Anna Jagielska-Riveiro constantly gives concerts in Poland and abroad – she has performed in: Spain, Mexico, France, England, Italy, Germany, Lithuania and others countries.

She is invited to international festivals connected with Jewish and Sephardic music in Poland and abroad, for example in 2011: X INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF SEPHARDIC MUSIC in Cordoba (Spain), the Festivals of Jewish Culture in Poland: WARSAW SINGER, and SIMCHA in Wroclaw. She was especially honored to perform at the opening ceremony of the only Sephardic Synagogue in Poland restored in Zamość.    

She has also performed on numerous ancient music and world music festivals, for example: the ANCIENT MUSIC FESTIVAL in the Royal Palace in Warsaw,  ARS CAMERALIS SILESIAE SUPERIORIS in Katowice as well as XIX FESTIVAL DEL ORGANO BARROCO and Festival SAN MIGUEL CANTADOR in Mexico.

The development of her vocal technique was particularly influenced through work with the eminent singers such as: Jadwiga Dzikówna (Poland), Romana Krebsówna (Poland), Evelyn Tubb, Vivien Ellis (England) and Montserrat Figueras (Spain).

She has been recording for the radio and television and she has made several CDs:
