UDER THE SKY OF SEPHARAD is a proposal of three different concert of Sephardic music in various styles. Apart from that I porpose a programme of the MAAYAN consort connected with broadly understood Jewish culture and concerts referring to the ancient music from Spain as well as to the tradition of Latin Americal countries. UNDER THE SKY OF SEFARAD – Sephardic musicLUNAS OLVIDADASSephardic songs in Oriental styleThis program refers to the musical tradition of Medieval Spain as well as to the way of performing Sephardic music in the Arabic part of the Mediterranean Sea Basin. The instruments and arrangements of the musical pieces emphasize oriental influences in Sephardic music. In 2009 the CD: LUNAS OLVIDADAS, was issued by the publishing company RIVEIRO Music. DOS AMANTESSephardic songs with Klezmer notesThe program Dos Amantes refers to the roots of Sephardic music as well as shows a modern aspect of Sephardic music as a still living tradition. The way the pieces are played is the efect of joining different musical worlds: ancient music, ethno, folk, classical music and jazz. In 2011 the CD DOS AMANTES recorded live on November 2010 in the Concert Studio “S1” of the Polish Radio in Warsaw was published. UNA MATICA DE RUDASephardic songs with guitarArrangements of Sephardic songs for two guitars evoke the connections of this music with the culture of Spain. The main topic of the concert is love.
